3000 Mile Classic Scooter Journey for Charity

Englishman Adrian Bebbington, 37, plans to travel to Cambodia from Kota Baru, a distance of 3,000km, on a classic scooter.

Bebbington, who will be accompanied by Dutch nurse Linda Bouhuys, 34, whom he met on Perhentian Island recently, is collecting funds for an orphanage, street children and mine victims in Cambodia.

"I've been using a Lambretta back home for about 20 years so I'm adept on a scooter," he said.

"It's a difficult journey but it will garner much publicity for the causes I'm promoting," said Bebbington.
